- 240ml water
- 4-5g very finely ground coffee
- 1 cardamom pod or a pinch of cardamom
- 2 T-Sugars Hard Cubes (broken in half)
Bring the water to a boil and add the sugar cubes in a small saucepan or ibrik. Boil quickly until sugar is dissolved and remove from heat. Add the ground coffee and cardamom. Place the pan or ibrik back on the heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat when the coffee begins to foam. Repeat (Turkish coffee is always served with foam on top). Pour into your favorite cup and allow to rest for a few minutes in order for the grounds to settle to the bottom. Do not stir.
